Ukraine claims more than 1,000 Russia troops killed in single day

“Some info that could be of use: the claim of 1,030 Russian casualties is coming from the Ukrainian government and it is utterly false. Kyiv is also claiming that the total Russian KIA is 133,190 which makes no sense given that the sum equals the total Russian Troop numbers in Southern Ukraine committed to the economy of force mission for most of the last 6 months. It appears that Kyiv is trying to do some pre-spin prior to the loss of Siversk and Bakhmut.“
